🌙 SHABAN 1447 AH - ✨ MOON SIGHTED ✨
• 1st of Shaban 1447 AH: Tuesday, 20 January 2026
• Night of 15th Sha’ban: Monday night, 2 February 2026

Assalamu-Alaikum Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The crescent moon to commence the blessed month of Shaban 1447 AH was observed after sunset on Monday, 19 January 2026. Verified reports from recognized committees confirm that the moon was successfully sighted .  The organizations has accepted these reports and has declared that the month of Rajab 1447 AH has completed 29 days. 
May Allah swt grant us barakah in the month of Shaban and allow us to reach Ramadan in good health and iman.

The Sanctity of Rajab:
Rajab is one of the four sacred months chosen by Allah ﷻ. Its honor is not symbolic, cultural, or historical, it is divine. Rajab was set apart as a time deserving special respect and restraint.
Sacred months remind us that time itself is a trust. When Allahﷻ elevates certain days and months, He is teaching us to be conscious of how we live within them. Rajab calls us to pause, reflect, and realign our priorities before the spiritual intensity of Ramadan arrives.

إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُورِ عِندَ اللَّهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ فَلَا تَظْلِمُوا فِيهِنَّ أَنفُسَكُمْ
Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve months… of them four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them. (Qur’an 9:36)

To honor Rajab is to treat your actions as meaningful. It is a reminder that obedience carries greater weight when done consciously, and sins carry greater consequences when committed carelessly.
