In light of today's shooting incident at the San Diego Masjid, we want to reassure our community that the safety and security of our members remains a top priority. We are taking all needed precautions and encourage everyone to remain vigilant, aware of the surroundings, and report any suspicious activity immediately. People are advised to call 911 to report any suspicious activity. The safety of our Masjid is a shared responsibility we need to work together as a community to support one and another and help protect our brothers and sisters. May Allah protect our community and fellow community from any harm.
I spoke with Tustin Police regarding the recent incident in San Diego. The police Department responded agreed immediately to increase patrol presence throughout the area surrounding the mosque.

At this time, there is no credible intelligence indicating any specific threat toward our mosque or the surrounding community. However, we encourage everyone to remain vigilant and aware of their surroundings. If anyone becomes aware of suspicious activity or receives concerning information, please report it to me immediately so appropriate precautions can be taken in coordination with law enforcement.
