Dear Brothers and Sisters/ AssalamuAlaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatu

On behalf of the Advisory Council and the Board of Directors of the Hamilton Downtown Mosque, I am pleased to extend to you our warmest congratulations on the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan.
We pray that Allah, Exalted and Glorified, returns it upon us, upon you, and upon the entire Muslim Ummah with peace, safety, faith, goodness, blessings, joy, and divine acceptance.

We are pleased to announce that tomorrow, Wednesday, February 18, will be the first day of Ramadan, and that tonight marks the first night of Qiyam and Taraweeh prayers. Please note that Ishaa prayer will be held at 8:00 PM, Allah willing.

May Allah accept your fasting, night prayers, Zakah, charity, and all your righteous deeds. May He make us, you, and our parents among those freed from the Fire and admitted into Paradise through the Gate of Rayyān. Indeed, He is All‑Hearing, ever‑Near, and Responsive to those who call upon Him. May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his noble companions.
