Humble Appeal
Dear Community Members,
Assalam o Allikum
As many of you have witnessed, our masjid is operating at full capacity during Jumu’ah prayers and community Iftars. Due to the long winter season in our area, holding Eid prayers or community activities outdoors is not a practical option for much of the year.
At the same time, the Muslim community in our region is growing rapidly—beyond anyone’s expectations. To meet this increasing need, the board has hired architects and contractors to design and build a properly planned mosque that can better serve our community.
The proposed mosque will include:
• Prayer space for 1,200 worshippers
• Separate wudu (ablution) areas for men and women
• Conference and meeting rooms
• A dining/banquet hall with capacity for 500 people
• 125 parking spaces
• Beautiful landscaping and community-friendly facilities
This is a vital project for the future of our community, and we are asking for your support. Every donation—large or small—will make a difference. If each of us contributes what we can, together we can make this important project a reality.
Please consider donating and sharing this message with others. Your generosity will help build a place of worship and community that will serve generations to come, Insha’Allah.
May Allah reward you abundantly for your kindness and generosity.
With gratitude,
Islamic Center of Scranton Board of Directors
