Salam Alaikum our beloved community,

Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah (SWT) and your generosity, we have collected $34,950 in checks, $17,908 through the Masjid App, and $500 in cash, bringing our total to $53,358 for the roof repair.

However, we still need approximately $90,500 to complete this important project. Our plan is to begin the work this summer, inshaAllah, once the school term is finished. We humbly ask for your continued support so that we can protect and preserve our masjid the house of Allah for ourselves and future generations.

Allah (SWT) says in the Qur’an:

“مَّن ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ أَضْعَافًا كَثِيرَةً”
‏“Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over?”
‏(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:245)

‏The Prophet ﷺ said:

“إِذَا مَاتَ ابْنُ آدَمَ انْقَطَعَ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ: صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ، أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ”
‏“When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuous charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.” (Muslim)

‏Supporting your masjid is a form of ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) that continues to benefit you long after this life.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we would also like to sincerely thank Dr. Mamoon for his incredible efforts. He has been actively reaching out to brothers and sisters across the country and around the world, encouraging them to donate and support our masjid. May Allah reward him abundantly and place barakah in his life and his family. Please keep him in your du‘a.
