1. The ICR is currently seeking nominations for 5 vacant positions for the board of directors, as well as a student position. 
A list of eligible members is posted on the bulletin board in the ICR lobby. 
Nomination forms can be picked up in the ICR office starting today. 
The deadline to submit nomination forms is Friday, May 29th.
Nominations can be dropped off in the ICR office.

Mustafa Abdelraheem stepfather of Mahmood Mamdoh passed away.
 His Salatul Janazah will be tomorrow April 22 after the Dhuhr Salat in the Islamic Center of Rochester, In Sha Allah. 
He will be buried in the MCAR Avon Cemetery. The Dhuhr Salat in ICR is at 1:30 pm.
May Allah have Mercy on the deceased and give strength to the family to bear this loss, Ameen.

Sister Shahida El-Amin wife of Late Musa El-Amin passed away. 
Her Salatul Janazah will be on Friday April 10, 2026 after the second Jumu’ah Salat in the Islamic Center of Rochester, NY, In Sha Allah. 
The second Jumu’ah Salat in ICR: Khutbah starts at 2:00 pm followed by Salat at 2:30 pm. 
She will be buried in the MCAR Avon Cemetery.
May Allah have Mercy on the deceased and give strength to the family members to bear this loss, Ameen.
