Dear Community Members,

Ramadan Mubarak!

On behalf of the Islamic Center of Rochester (ICR), I am pleased to announce that the first day of Ramadan will be Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

We welcome this blessed month with hearts full of gratitude and hope. Ramadan is a time for deep spiritual reflection, increased devotion, and a renewed commitment to our faith and our community. As we gather for prayers, Iftars, and community service, let us remember to keep those in need and those facing hardships around the world in our constant Duas.

Taraweeh will begin tomorrow evening, Tuesday, February 17, immediately following Isha prayer.

Iftar will be available for distribution for college students, travelers, new Muslims and the needy.
To donate towards ICR Iftar distribution, please visit ICR on the masjid app or the below link

As we recently completed renovations to our prayer areas, we kindly ask everyone to help us maintain the cleanliness of our sacred space. Please remember that no food or drinks (other than water) are allowed on the new carpets.

May Allah (SWT) accept our fasting, our prayers, and our good deeds during this holy month. We wish you and your loved ones a peaceful and spiritually uplifting Ramadan.

Ramadan Kareem!

Sincerely,
Zaka Ansari President,
Islamic Center of Rochester (ICR)
