Friday June 5th @ 7:30pm -  Girls (Ages 12+) & Boys Youth Meeting today –  All parents are encouraged to send their high school / College youth to come attend this great meeting where we get to know one another, plan events, have fun and strengthen our faith then have pizza after.  IMPORTANT Meeting PLEASE and everyone should make the time to come as we are planning for the Eid Carnival and we need a lot of volunteers.   

Note: No Toastmasters due to planning for Eid Carnival.

### ISSV Kids Summer Camp ###

Muslim Kids Summer Camp IS BACK AGAIN at Simi Masjid!  - Beginning the week of July 7th. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for four weeks,  OFFICIAL TIME 2pm - 4pm. Parents please fill out this form to enroll your kids. Early bird price is $100/kid.  Siblings receive a discount. After June 17th prices will increase to $125 per child.  Registration closes June 30th. No same day walk-ins. Kids camp will be capped at 40 students.   If you have an older child who may be too old for the kids camp we have the new Muslim Teen Imaan Camp where we will do games and crafts after enrichment with knowledge of our deen. • Quran Classes — Spring session is complete. Summer session begins mid‑June. Please contact Hafiz Junaid to register.

• Shura Council Banquet — June 6th, with a pre‑conference conversation featuring Dr. Yasir Qadhi. See email to sign up.

###  Sunday School and Quran Classes ###

The last day of Sunday School for this semester will be Sunday May 24th.  On that day there will be a special Hajj Simulation event starting at 11:30am and open to the whole community.  All children are encouraged to attend to learn about this pillar of our deen.  See the flyer below for more details.

Friday May 22nd @ 6:30pm -  Toastmasters Club Meeting – This is a Leadership & effective communication club open to all ages Boys and Girls. Everyone is encouraged to attend this great program to improve your speech and leadership skills and have lots of Fun.

### ISSV Eid al Adha ###

Eid al Adha will Insha'Allah be Wednesday, May 27th, 2026. Prayers will be offered in the masjid parking lot and facility, kindly bring your prayer rugs along with you.

ISSV Statement and Response to the Shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego

The Islamic Society of Simi Valley is deeply saddened by the tragic events that occurred at the Islamic Center of San Diego which claimed the lives of three members of the Muslim community.  An attack on a place of worship and a sanctuary is of the worst acts imaginable and is to be condemned by all people of conscience.  We offer our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and all those directly impacted.  May Allah grant those who were martyred Jannat al Firdous and grant the families patience and strength at this difficult time.  

In response to this tragedy, ISSV has reached out to local law enforcement to make them aware of our concerns and requested additional patrols and surveillance during scheduled activities at the masjid including our Jumah and upcoming Eid prayers.  We will also be increasing our security precautions and presence during events at the masjid.  There may be some adjustments made to access points during larger events - please follow the directions of security and masjid personnel.

May Allah protect and strengthen our community and end senseless acts of violence and hatred.  We are committed to peace, safety, dialogue, community engagement and the religious freedom this nation was founded on and stand in solidarity with all who share those values. 

Please join us for a community gathering of dua and reflection as we come together in remembrance, healing and unity to honor the victims of the Islamic Center of San Diego tragedy.  All are invited to come together and stand in faith, love and solidarity.
