Assalaamu Alaikum Dear Community Members,

We are aware of reports regarding the active shooter incident at the Islamic Center of San Diego earlier today. The safety of our community remains our highest priority.

Out of an abundance of caution, security on campus has been increased, including armed security, with support from the Garden Grove Police Department.

Campus will close today at 3:15 PM following Orange Crescent School dismissal. All afterschool programs, ISOC offices, Barakah Cafe, and GR8 Finds will be closed for the remainder of the day.

Prayers will continue as scheduled. Please park on the street, as campus gates will be locked, and kindly leave campus immediately after prayers.

May Allah (SWT) protect our community and Ummah, keep everyone safe, and grant peace and security to all.
