This Friday night, join us for another detailed session of exploring historical events in Islam, this time about the Treaty of Hudaybiya.

Although initially perceived as a setback or defeat according to some, Allah in the Quran called this treaty event  a “manifest victory” . Come in person this Friday evening at Maghrib to learn about this milestone of Islam insha Allah.

Assalam Alykum good people. It is currently the best time of the week to make Duaa. Let's try to detach ourselves from our busy lives for 10-30 minutes to turn to Allah in prayer. 

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Friday is twelve hours in which there is no Muslim slave who asks Allah (SWT) for something but He will give it to him, so seek it in the last hour after 'Asr."

Physicians, optometrists, dentists, and pharmacists will be on site providing FREE screenings, health services, and medications to the community. Come out tomorrow, Friday night to hear a retelling of the third great battle of Islam that took place in the month of Shawwal: the Battle of the Trench! Insha Allah we will hear the details and analyze the lessons from history that can inform us to this day.

Tonight’s gathering was a staff and Ramadan volunteer appreciation dinner—a small way to recognize the dedication, time, and heart given throughout the blessed month.

ISOC is built on the efforts of our volunteers, staff, and families. Every act of service for the sake of Allah (SWT) strengthens our community.
