🚨 Jumu’ah Community Reminder

We are expecting higher than usual attendance for the first Jumu’ah today as we will have two janazah prayers immediately following the first khutbah.

🅿️ Please arrive early to ensure you are able to find parking and enter campus safely. Once our parking areas fill up, please do not park illegally or in areas that are not designated for parking.

👮 Garden Grove PD will be onsite and will be actively patrolling the surrounding area and issuing tickets for illegal parking.

Please also: • Follow all instructions from our security guards and staff. They are here to help manage traffic, parking, and safety. • Be respectful and mindful of our neighbors and Hill School. • 🚫 Do not park on the flood channel side of 13th Street. • Follow all posted signs and use designated entry and exit points.

We have worked hard to maintain positive relationships with our neighbors and local community. Your cooperation helps us preserve those relationships and ensures a safe and smooth Jumu’ah for everyone.

Sahih Bukhari # 5353 

 عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :  «السَّاعِي عَلَى الْأَرْمَلَةِ وَالْمِسْكِينِ كَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ، أَوِ الْقَائِمِ اللَّيْلَ الصَّائِمِ النَّهَارَ»  .

​Narrated Abu Hurairahؓ: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The one who strives to look after and help the widow and the poor person is like a warrior who fights for Allah's Cause, or like him who stands in prayer all night and fasts all day."

It is currently the best time of the week to make Duaa. Let's try to detach ourselves from our busy lives for 10-30 minutes to turn to Allah in prayer. 

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Friday is twelve hours in which there is no Muslim slave who asks Allah (SWT) for something but He will give it to him, so seek it in the last hour after 'Asr."

‎عنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ سَاعَةً لاَ يُوجَدُ فِيهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا إِلاَّ آتَاهُ إِيَّاهُ فَالْتَمِسُوهَا آخِرَ سَاعَةٍ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
