Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Alhamdulillah, ICOI is excited to relaunch and enrich our New Muslims Program through "Foundations of Faith"—a weekly program designed primarily for New Muslims and prospective Muslims.

Led by Imam Dirie Ahmed, Associate Religious Director of ICOI, and Ustadh Amr El-Moselhy, Foundations of Faith will offer a welcoming space for participants to learn the essentials of Islam, ask questions, connect with others on a similar journey, and build a stronger relationship with the masjid and Muslim community.

The program will cover foundational topics such as Islamic belief, worship and prayer, spiritual development, the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the Qur’an, Islamic character, and living Islam in everyday life.

Each weekly gathering will also include time for suhbah and fellowship, giving participants an opportunity to socialize, build relationships, and connect informally with the instructors before the lesson.
