Bismillāh ir-Raḥmān ir-Raḥīm

Dear respected brothers and sisters,

As members of this blessed community, we are all guests in the House of Allah. Our masjid is not just a building — it is a sacred space dedicated to worship, remembrance, unity, and mercy. Allah سبحانه وتعالى says in the Qur’an:

“And the mosques are for Allah, so do not invoke with Allah anyone.”
— (Surah Al-Jinn 72:18)

And He also says:

“In houses which Allah has ordered to be raised and that His Name be remembered therein; exalting Him within them in the morning and the evenings.”
— (Surah An-Nur 24:36)

These verses remind us that the masjid is a place of dhikr, salah, Qur’an, patience, and good character — not a place of shouting, arguments, or harshness.

Our beloved Prophet ﷺ, Muhammad, taught us the importance of maintaining dignity and discipline in the masjid. He said:

“Whoever hears a man announcing about a lost item in the mosque, let him say: ‘May Allah not return it to you,’ for the mosques were not built for this.” (Muslim)

This hadith shows us that even raising voices for worldly matters was discouraged in the masjid. How much more careful should we be when it comes to disputes or disagreements?

Dear community members,

If anyone has concerns, suggestions, or disagreements, you are always welcome — and encouraged — to approach the Board of Directors respectfully. There are multiple communication channels available: direct meetings, scheduled discussions, written communication, and community forums. The board members are here to serve the community, and constructive dialogue is always more effective than public confrontation.

Raising voices inside the masjid does not reflect the beautiful character of our deen. It creates discomfort among worshippers, affects our youth, and leaves a negative impression on visitors. More importantly, it deprives us of the tranquility and reward that Allah places in His house.

We are especially in the blessed month of Ramadan — a month of mercy, forgiveness, patience, and unity. Allah says:

“The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.”
— (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:185)

Let us not destroy the blessings of this sacred month through anger or division. Let us not deprive ourselves of its barakah by allowing Shaytan to create discord among us.

Instead, let us increase in:

* Salah in congregation
* Recitation and reflection upon the Qur’an
* Dhikr and du‘a
* Acts of kindness and charity
* Patience and mutual respect

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The most beloved places to Allah are the mosques.” (Muslim)

If they are the most beloved places to Allah, then our behavior inside them should also be beloved to Him.

My dear brothers and sisters, we are one community. Differences may arise — this is natural — but how we handle them defines our character. Let us choose calm discussion over confrontation, wisdom over emotion, and unity over division.

May Allah unite our hearts, purify our intentions, and allow us to honor His house in the way it deserves.

May He make our masjid a place of peace, harmony, knowledge, and light.

Ameen.

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh dear brothers and sisters,

We are in the blessed month of Ramadan, and tonight is the blessed night of Jumuʿah — a time when rewards are multiplied and hearts are softened. This is a moment Allah has gifted us, and we should not let it pass.

Alḥamdulillāh, for our community funeral project, we have already raised over €50,000. One generous brother alone has contributed €20,000 — may Allah accept it from him and place it heavy on his scale of good deeds.
Our target is €80,000, and we are getting closer — but we still need your support.

Allah reminds us in the Qur’an:

“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain which grows seven ears; in every ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies for whom He wills.”(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261)

And our beloved Prophet ﷺ said:

“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (ṣadaqah jāriyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.”(Sahih Muslim)

This funeral project is not just a building or a service — it is dignity for our loved ones, support for grieving families, and a lasting sadaqah jāriyah for every one of us. Imagine the reward of every janāzah facilitated, every family supported, every duʿā made — continuing for you even after you return to Allah.

The Prophet ﷺ also said:

“Charity does not decrease wealth.”(Sahih Muslim)
Do not deprive yourself of this opportunity in Ramadan. Do not wait. None of us know if we will witness another Ramadan. Give whatever you can — large or small — and give sincerely for the sake of Allah.

Tonight, in this blessed month and blessed night, press the link and donate. Let your contribution be a light for you in the grave and on the Day of Resurrection.
May Allah accept from all of us, purify our intentions, and place barakah in every euro given.

Donate now. Don’t delay.
