MCC 2/21/2025
Sh. Hasib Noor
i) After a short few days the blessed month of Ramadan will be upon us. Good Deeds You Can Do In This Ramadan: It's not just about fasting & prayer; but it is also an opportunity to focus on selfless donations & good 'amal'.
ii) It's also about seeking forgiveness from Allah SWT. We all have shortcomings! We should all aspire to escape sins - instead enhance acts of good deeds to reap high benefits from Allah SWT
iii) The Prophet (ﷺ) made treaties with the tribes of yahud to mutually live in peace! Alas! they all committed acts of treachery and betrayal!
iv) Hadith on Akhirah: Hereafter is the only life worth living! Oh Allah there is no life except the life of the Hereafter! The days will come when this reality will dawn on us. How much sakina comes from doing good works (deeds)
v) The Prophet (ﷺ) ascended the pulpit and he said, “Amin, amin, amin.” He clarified to the flock: Jabriel a.s. came to me and he said: Whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and he is not forgiven, then he will enter Hellfire and Allah will cast him far away, so say amin. I said amin. Whoever sees his parents in their old age, one or both of them, and he does not honor them and he dies, then he will enter Hellfire and Allah will cast him far away, so say amin. I said amin. Whoever has your name mentioned in his presence and he does not send blessings upon you and he dies, then he will enter Hellfire and Allah will cast him far away, so say amin. I said amin.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Ḥibbān)
vi) Ramadan Fasting & enhanced ibadaah is the way to seeking Allah's forgiveness! The ones who lives the last ten nights of Ramadan, has a clean heart and send salawat to the Prophet (ﷺ) is forgiven!
vii) Allah SWT takes daily account of us. We shouldn't let desires overcome and overwhelm us! The Prophet (ﷺ) pulls us away from the hellfire - so much Mercy for his flock!
viii) Solace and tranquility in the Hereafter There is no life better than the Hereafter!"And do not exchange the covenant of Allah for a small price. Indeed, what is with Allah is best for you, if only you could know....Whatever you have will end, but what Allah has is lasting. And We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do. (Surah An-Nahl:95)
ix) Two acts in preparation for the blessed month of Ramadan: Ask Allah SWT for Forgiveness and do more good 'amal' - more ibadaah.
x) Ask Allah SWT for Forgiveness. Do more istakfar. Enhance your ibadaah in preparation for the blessed month of Ramadan and do Good Deeds! May He protect & gives victory to our brothers and sisters in Gaza & elsewhere. Ameen! Ya Rabbal 'Alamin!
