The ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ Ramadan ๐ค๐๐ฟโ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป hosted by the Islamic Organization of the Southern Tier (IOST) is open to ๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐, ๐ด๐ถ๐ฟ๐น๐, ๐บ๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ๐, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ๐ of ๐ฎ๐น๐น ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐ (starting at age ๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ฒ). This competition provides an opportunity for community members to come together in pursuit of memorizing and reciting the Qurโan. Participants will recite privately to our panel of judges, ensuring a comfortable setting. They will be judged based on memorization, tajweed, and recitation. Winners will then have the honor of reciting publicly during the ๐ฎ๐ณ๐๐ต ๐ก๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป! ๐๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ต๐ ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ด๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฝ: Prepare and memorize the Surah assigned to your age group: - ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฝ ๐ (๐๐ด๐ฒ๐ ๐ฑโ๐ด): Surah Aadiyaat - ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฝ ๐ (๐๐ด๐ฒ๐ ๐ดโ๐ญ๐ฌ): Surah Aโlaa - ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฝ ๐ (๐๐ด๐ฒ๐ ๐ญ๐ญโ๐ญ๐ฑ): Surah Naba - ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฝ ๐ (๐๐น๐น ๐๐ด๐ฒ๐ โ ๐ข๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ป ๐๐ผ ๐๐ฑ๐๐น๐๐): Surah Hujuraat All participants are welcome participate in a higher-group level if they feel confident. ๐ฏ ๐๐๐ฎ๐น๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ: Judges will evaluate based on these criteria: ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: How each letter is read according to tajweed rules. ๐ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ท๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฑ: Proper articulation, nasal sounds, and word elongation. ๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: Smooth, error-free recitation with fluency. ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐๐: Tone, melody, and the ability to beautify your recitation.
