The Masjid App Admins

**New features:**

* 🧾 **Mass Email Consolidated receipts** — Accessible from Menu > Accounting > Send Receipts. Each email has two PDFs attached (summary + full), and the email itself contains the full receipt. This is a brand new design built to meet country tax regulations, especially for Canada. There's Gift Aid support for UK masjids too. For donors with skipped emails, you can download the PDF and give it to them however you prefer (print, other digital delivery methods, etc.). If you spot any issues with the receipts, let us know so we can fix them.

* 🔗 **Linkable slides on your website widget** — Slides can still be swiped through, but on tap/click or via a menu option they act as normal links. Enable this from the regular Slideshow dashboard — there's a "Link" button next to each slide. Great for linking to donation pages, event registration, etc.

**Coming next:**

* 📬 **Self-requested receipts updated to new design** — Donors could always self-request receipts at any time from themasjidapp.net/receipts — we'll be updating this to use the new consolidated receipt design. It will also no longer send a "Cumulative across all masjids" receipt, as we found that one wasn't very popular. If anyone has differing feedback on that, please do share.

**Bug fixes:**

* Fundraiser goal progress now updates properly on the public page after new donations
* Fixed receipt failure emails for delayed settlement methods (ACH, PAD, BECA, BAS, SEPA) showing wrong dollar amounts and incorrect payment dates. For these methods, a "processing has started" email is sent instantly at the time of payment explaining it will take a few days to settle, after which they'll receive a confirmation or failure email. The failure email template had some typos which were fixed.
* On the files dashboard, renaming the file no longer allows renaming extension. As 100% of the time, the extension was kept the same.
* Canada tax receipts now correctly include the "RR 0001" suffix if not present, and Ireland ges CHY prefixed if not present.

**Also:**

* 📺 **TMA Screens app documented** — We've documented all the features of the TMA Screens app and how to use it on the "Learn" page, linked from the top of the TV Displays page (Admin Login > Menu > TV Displays). Your displays work on any TV — [learn how to set them up here]. While displays do work in a browser, the official app has many more features. On that note, we fixed a regression introduced March 8th where screens would go to sleep on the Silk Browser specifically on Amazon Fire TV and Fire Sticks — we recommend using the actual app instead of the browser for displays.
