Assalamu Alaikum, Dear Respected Community Members,

As we begin working toward completing the basement of Masjid Al-Noor, our goal is to create additional space for community gatherings, events, and youth activities.

Our first project will be establishing a gym for our youth, inshaAllah!

Alhamdulillah, cleanup efforts have already begun, and we are now looking for gym equipment to help bring this project to life.

If you have any gym or exercise equipment that you no longer use or would like to donate to the masjid, we kindly ask that you send us a picture of the equipment. If it is something we can use, a board member will contact you to arrange pickup.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT BRING OR DROP OFF ANY EQUIPMENT AT THE MASJID WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION FROM THE BOARD.

Assalamu Alaikum, Dear Respected Community Members,
As the newly elected Board of Directors begins its term, we would like to sincerely thank you for placing your trust in us to serve and represent the best interests of our community. We humbly ask that you keep us in your duas and pray that Allah (SWT) grants us the wisdom, sincerity, and guidance to make decisions that are best for our community and pleasing to Him.
As we begin our term, we would also like to clarify an important matter regarding the Masjid's finances.
A previous message shared with the community stated that the Masjid's bank account was left with a balance of $345,594.00. However, this figure does not accurately reflect the funds available to the incoming Board.
After our new Treasurer took over and reviewed the financial obligations, outstanding expenses, and income, the actual starting balance available to the new Board was $199,124.76.
This adjusted balance reflects the following financial activity and obligations:
    •    School Donations ($20,000.00): Funds donated specifically for the school, which have since been transferred to their intended recipient.
    •    Roofing and AC Projects ($141,951.00): The full financial obligations associated with the Masjid's roofing project ($132,774.00) and air conditioning expenses ($9,177.00).
    •    Outstanding Masjid Expenses: Previously unpaid bills, including five months of overdue payments for our dumpster service, along with other operational expenses ($ 31,837.43).
    •    Masjid Income ($47,319.19): Income received by the Masjid during the reporting period.
We are sharing this clarification not to create division or place blame, but to ensure transparency, accountability, and an accurate understanding of the financial position inherited by the new Board.
We believe our community deserves to know exactly where we stand financially as we begin our responsibilities. Moving forward, we are committed to maintaining clear financial records, providing regular financial updates, and ensuring that the community's donations and resources are managed responsibly.
