🌙 Ramadan Renovation Drive
🔗 **Donate now:** msdj.co/ramadandrive
**300 Families. $500 Each. One Shared Legacy.**
This Ramadan, we are inviting 300 families to give $500 each to help renovate and renew our beloved Islamic Centre.
Your contribution will restore the space where hearts soften, where Qur’an is recited, where sujood is made, and where generations are shaped.
Please give whatever you are able. No amount is small when given for the sake of Allah swt.
---
📖 Allah swt says:
**إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ**
“The mosques of Allah are only maintained by those who believe in Allah.”
(Qur’an 9:18)
---
🕌 The Prophet ﷺ said:
**مَنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ**
“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari & Muslim)
---
One day, someone will stand in prayer in a space you helped restore.
A child will memorize Qur’an beneath a roof you helped repair.
A family will find guidance in a masjid you helped renew.
This is not just $500.
It is your footprint in this community.
It is your sadaqah jariyah.
It is your legacy.
May Allah swt accept your efforts and generosity, bless this project, and make it a light for us on the Day we meet Him. Ameen. 🌙✨

As we enter the blessed month of Ramadhan, our masjid will be fuller, our parking lot busier, and our presence in the neighborhood more visible. Every clean space is silent dawah.
Every considerate action is a message about who we are. Our neighbors may never hear a khutbah, but they will see our character; an excellent opportunity for meaningful connection.
How we park.
Where we leave our trash.
How we treat shared spaces.
All of it counts as ibadah.
Allah swt says:
“Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and be good to parents, relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor and the distant neighbor.”
Surah An-Nisa 4:36
Our beloved Prophet ﷺ taught us:
إِيمَانٌ بِضْعٌ وَسَبْعُونَ شُعْبَةً … وَأَدْنَاهَا إِمَاطَةُ الْأَذَىٰ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ
“Iman has over seventy branches… and the lowest of them is removing harm from the road.”
Muslim
Parking responsibly is not just organization. It is worship. Please park within the marked lines and do not block other vehicles or access points.
Leaving garbage on the ground is not a small matter. It harms the masjid, disrespects the neighborhood, and contradicts the beauty of our deen.
Please place all trash in the bins. If a bin is full, use another and if you see litter, pick it up for the sake of Allah swt.
Jazakallhu Khairan for your efforts and may Allah swt accept them. Ameen.
Let this Ramadhan be a month where our siyam purifies our hearts, our qiyam our elevates our souls, and our manners beautify our community.
May Allah swt make us people who remove harm, not create it, and make our presence a source of blessing. Ameen.

🕌 Ramadan Renewal and Renovation Appeal
Iftar Sponsorship 2026
Every evening in Ramadan, our masjid opens its doors to provide a welcoming space where the community can break their fast together. Through our Daily Iftar Feeding Program, we serve nutritious meals to brothers and sisters who rely on the masjid for their Iftar: students, travelers, families in need, and anyone who seeks the blessing of sharing food in this sacred month. To keep this effort going throughout Ramadan, we depend on the generosity of our community. Your donations help us provide fresh meals, dates and water, and essential supplies needed to host Iftar every single day. Even a small contribution becomes part of someone’s iftar: a moment of relief, gratitude, and connection. Support this beautiful tradition of feeding those who fast. Together, we can ensure that no one breaks their fast alone.
🕋 Zakat 2026
“And establish prayer and give zakah, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves—you will find it with Allah.” - Surah Al-Baqarah (2:110)

🧺 Zakat al-Fitr (Fitra) 🌙
$15 per person Fitra is a required charity given at the end of Ramadan, and before Eid-ul-Fitr prayers, to show gratitude to Allah for allowing us to observe the obligatory fasts in Ramadan with compassion and steadfastness. The head of household pays it on behalf of every family member, and it is compulsory for every individual who has sufficient food for themselves and their family. The estimated cost is $15 per person in each household.
Fidya and Kaffarah (Missed Fasts)
Fidya - $12 per day “Fidya” is paid by individuals who cannot fulfill the obligation of fasting due to chronic illness or old age. Fidya payments are meant to feed a person in need for each of the fasting days missed. If the donor is from a low-income family, he or she should then care for the family’s needs first before considering giving a separate Fidya donation. In the hanafi madhab, this doesn’t apply to pregnant or breastfeeding women, as they will be able to fast in the future. So they must perform qada (making up missed fasts) rather than paying fidya. “Kaffara,” provides individuals who deliberately miss or break a day of fasting an opportunity to recompense for it. According to Islamic guidelines, if a person misses a day of fasting without a valid reason, he or she should either fast for 60 consecutive days or feed 60 under privileged people per day. The estimated cost is $12 per person for 60 people, which equals $720 a day for each missed or broken day. Beyond Ramadan, Kaffara may also be given to recompense for broken oaths or promises. In these cases, 10 underprivileged people should be fed for each occurrence. The estimated cost is $12 per person for 10 people, which equals $120 per broken promise. If the donor is from a low-income family, and cannot afford the payment, it is recommended that he or she should fast for three days, and make sure to “protect your oath,” meaning he or she should stay true to his or her word going forward.
🌙Support Your Masjid Every Friday✨
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The best of days is Friday.” Turn your Friday sadaqah into a source of continuous barakah. By setting up automatic weekly donations, you give without stress, without forgetting, and without needing to take any extra steps each week. Your consistent Jummah gift supports the masjid, earns ongoing reward, and keeps your intentions alive — even on the busiest days. A small amount, given regularly, becomes a powerful stream of sadaqah jariyah. Jazakallahu Khairan for making Jummah part of your routine of giving.
