π New for 2026: Convert & Entry-Level Track
We are thrilled to announce a brand-new category this year! Group 6 is specially designed for Converts and Entry-Level Adult Readers. If you are learning to read or looking for accessible Surahs to memorize for your daily prayer, this is your platform. Join us and be encouraged to grow!
βοΈ Judging & Evaluation
To ensure a comfortable and focused environment, all contestants will be judged privately, Insha'Allah. Our panel of qualified judges will evaluate participants on four core criteria:
- Memorization (Hifdh): Precision and accuracy of the text.
- Pronunciation (Tajweed): Mastery of the rules of recitation and articulation.
- Beauty of Voice: The natural quality of the recitation.
- Tone & Delivery: The spiritual expression and rhythm of the reading.
π Competition Groups & Surahs
There are two levels in each age group (Beginner & Advanced). Choose your group based on your comfort.
Group 1 (Ages 4-6): Surah Al-Asr (Beg) | Surah Al-Ma'un (Adv)
Group 2 (Ages 7-9): Surah Al-Inshirah (Beg) | Last 3 Ayahs of Al-Baqarah (Adv)
Group 3 (Ages 10-12): Ayat-Ul-Kursi (Beg) | Surah Al-Qiyamah (Adv)
Group 4 (Ages 13-15): Surah Al-Layl (Beg) | Surah Al-Kahf (First 10 & Last 10) (Adv)
Group 5 (Ages 16+ Adults): Surah Al-A'laa (Beg) | Surah Qaf (Adv)
Group 6 (Converts & Entry Level): Surah Al-Kafirun (Beg) | Surah Al-Qari'ah (Adv)
π How to Register
Choose Your Challenge: Select either the "Beginner" or "Advanced" track within your age group.

The "Fair Play" Rule: To keep the competition rewarding for all, participants must challenge themselves. Entering a level significantly below your known ability to gain an advantage will result in disqualification.
