Allah (subḥānahū wa taʿālā) says:
*“Say: ‘My slaves, those who have transgressed against yourselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Truly Allah forgives all sins: He is truly the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.’”*

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Indeed the sun and the moon are not made to eclipse because of the death of anyone nor his life (birth), but they are two signs from the numerous signs of Allah that He uses to frighten and remind His servants. Thus when they eclipse, then hurry to (perform) Salat.” (Abu Dawud)

Tonight 5/15 there will be a lunar eclipse that will begin at approximately 7:30pm and end at 11:00pm.
