The Burbank Islamic Center Sunday School Program provides children with a strong foundation in Islamic knowledge, character, and practice. Through age-appropriate instruction and activities, students will:
* Learn the fundamentals of the Five Pillars of Islam
* Apply Qur’anic principles and Islamic values in their daily lives
* Study Arabic to strengthen communication skills and their understanding of the Qur’an
* Develop God-consciousness and learn from the exemplary character of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
* Build a sense of responsibility toward Allah, their families, society, and the environment
Enrollment Requirements
To complete your child’s enrollment:
1. Complete the registration form and submit the initial payment of $150
This payment includes the $85 registration fee and the first month’s tuition of $65
2. Set up recurring monthly tuition payments beginning in September 2026

3. Complete the Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form on the first day of school
Fees
* Registration fee: $85 per child, including books
* Tuition: $650 per child for the school year, paid at $65 per month

School Calendar
Tuition includes 32 Sunday School sessions. Classes will be held on the following dates:
August 2026: 16, 23, 30
September 2026: 13, 20, 27
October 2026: 4, 11, 18, 25
November 2026: 1, 8, 15, 22
December 2026: 6, 13, 20
January 2027: 10, 17, 24, 31
February 2027: 7
March 2027: 21, 28
April 2027: 4, 11, 18, 25
May 2027: 2, 9, 23, 30
There will be no classes during scheduled breaks for Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and Eid al-Adha
