π Ma'rifa Program π
Weekly Islamic Studies Program for Middle Schoolers, Grades 6-10!
π Hosted by: Islamic Organization of Southern Tier (IOST)
The Ma'rifa Program is designed to engage middle schoolers through a fun, interactive, and faith-oriented weekly program. Focused on teaching key Islamic principles and values, it provides a welcoming space for students to grow spiritually, develop good character, and gain a solid foundation in Islamic knowledge, all while enjoying the company of fellow young Muslims.
π What We Teach:
In this program, we cover the following areas to inspire and educate:
βοΈ Hadith β Learning from the sayings of the Prophet (PBUH)
βοΈ Seerah β Exploring the life of the Prophet (PBUH)
βοΈ Tareekh β Understanding Islamic history
βοΈ Tafseer β Explaining the meanings of Qurβanic verses
βοΈ Islamic Ethics, Morals, and Manners β Building character and good adab
βοΈ Aqeedah β Strengthening core beliefs and understanding of Halal & Haram
Through these topics and more, students gain a deeper connection to their faith and develop comprehensive Islamic knowledge.

Days: Sundays (September 8, 2024, to June 22, 2025)
Timings: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Fees: $25 per child, monthly
