🌙 Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 - 1st Prayer Service

The Islamic Organization of the Southern Tier (IOST) warmly invites you and your family to gather for Eid-ul-Fitr. To accommodate our community, we are holding TWO separate Eid services.

📢 THIS IS THE 1ST PRAYER SERVICE

📋 PRAYER DETAILS
📅 Date: Friday, March 20, 2026
📍 Location: IOST Masjid
🕖 Takbeerat: 7:00 AM
🕌 Eid Salah: 7:30 AM

❄️ IMPORTANT: WEATHER & SPACE
Indoor space is limited. Once the masjid reaches capacity, congregants will be required to pray outdoors.

• 🧥 DRESS WARMLY: It is expected to be very cold on Friday. Please prepare accordingly by wearing heavy layers, coats, and gloves for outdoor prayer.

• 🧘 BRING YOUR PRAYER MAT: Essential for those praying in the overflow areas.

• 🚫 NO ON-SITE ACTIVITIES: Due to the extreme cold, there will be no other Eid activities or festivities held on that day. Families are encouraged to head to their next destination immediately following the Khutbah.

💰 SADAQAH-TUL-FITR
Sadaqah-tul-Fitr must be paid before the Eid Salah begins. We encourage everyone to fulfill this obligation as soon as possible.

🚗 ARRIVAL & PARKING
• Arrive Early: Please arrive at least 30 minutes before Salah (7:00 AM).
• Be a Good Neighbor: Do not block private driveways or fire hydrants.
• Follow Volunteer Guidance: IOST volunteers and local police will be directing traffic.
• Consider Carpooling: Help us maximize limited parking space.
