Join us for a special film screening followed by a Q&A exploring our role and responsibility as Muslims in caring for the Earth, in partnership with Art and Wilderness Institute. Through a discussion with members of the organizing team, we’ll reflect on the importance of environmental stewardship, our responsibility as khulafa (stewards of the Earth), and how we can put these values into practice within our own communities.
The discussion will also introduce the principles of permaculture and how they can be applied in our homes, masajid, and community spaces to promote sustainability and care for the environment.
This event is an opportunity for our community to learn, reflect, and explore practical ways to become better stewards of the Earth. All are welcome, including youth and families!
