MCC is proud to introduce Strength in Sunnah: Women’s Mat Pilates, a holistic fitness program designed to help women strengthen their bodies, improve flexibility, and promote overall wellness, all within a supportive and faith-centered environment. Led by certified Pilates Instructor Kirsten Lozano, this program integrates physical well-being with the principles of balance and discipline encouraged in the Sunnah. Asma bint Abi Bakr (RA), the daughter of Abu Bakr (RA), was known for her physical strength and resilience. She carried supplies for the Prophet (ﷺ) and her father during their migration to Madinah, demonstrating her capability and fitness. Nusaybah bint Ka'ab (RA), one of the first Muslim women warriors, actively defended the Prophet (ﷺ) during the Battle of Uhud. Her courage and physical endurance exemplify the value of strength in women.
