🧵 Stitch & Sip: Intro to Waste Canvas + Hint of Tatreez
Want to give your clothes a second life with traditional Palestinian embroidery? In this workshop, you’ll learn how to use waste canvas to embroider tatreez designs directly onto your favorite garments or accessories. We’ll discuss how this technique supports sustainable fashion and how tatreez can thrive in a modern, eco-conscious world.
The class includes a guided stitching session suitable for all levels.
Please bring an item you'd like to embroider (cotton, linen, or denim works best—avoid stretchy fabrics). If you’re unsure or don’t have anything to bring, we’ll provide canvas tote bags for you to practice on
